Catie goes to American Girl

Catie's cousins Caitie and Maddy were in town for Caitie's 10th birthday. The girls and their dolls did a little shopping in the store and then ate lunch at the American Girl Bistro (note the dolls in their high chairs with menus). Following lunch, Caitie and Maddy took their dolls to the Hair Salon for a new hair-do. As Steve put it, "money well spent!"

Jackson found a caterpillar last week. We created a nice habitat with fresh leaves for the little guy and patiently waiting for the cocoon (if it makes it this long).

We headed up to Hiawassee for the weekend to visit with Uncle John and Ann who made the trip down from Wisconsin. The kids had a blast and did not want to leave. Above, kids pretending to be lifeguards at the beach. It was too cold to swim, but they played in the sand and on the playground.

Abby

Abby's infant pictures have finally arrived! These were taken when the little bit was a week old.

Abigail at 2 months

Abby had her 2 month check up today. She was just over 12 pounds and was "off the charts" for height. She continues to be a very sweet and good tempered baby.

Brown Eyes' Birthday

Jackson decided last week that Brown Eyes had a birthday coming up. So, we celebrated the party on Sunday with several friends. Jackson took the party very seriously... He drew several pictures as decorations, hung streamers, and planned games. The kids enjoyed playing, eating pizza and cupcakes, and playing Pin the Tail on the Possum. Above, Brown Eyes with his birthday hat and gift (Thanks Luke!).

Tot Trot

The kids are getting ready for the Tot Trot at Atlantic Station. Catie went first and ran 1 lap (.2 miles). Actually, I should say Steve ran .2 miles, because he had to carry her the whole way. Then, Jackson ran 2 laps (.4 miles).
