Happy Easter!!!

Waiting patiently at the top of the stairs to see what the Big Bunny left the night before. The Easter Bunny almost did not make it, as Jax was up past 11pm and the Bunny was dozing off before his work was completed.

More Legos...just what we needed!

Catie loves Easter, maybe even more than Christmas. Candy and stuffed animals... life is good!

Abster is afraid of the Easter Bunny and did not want to come downstairs for fear that he was still here.

"Hey, this Easter hunt is not so bad after all..."

Afternoon always brings the traditional neighborhood outdoor Easter egg hunt. Mr. Rich and Mr. Stiv hide eggs all over our two backyards and the kids have a blast running around trying to find them. This year we stepped it up with a few "golden eggs" and Cam had refreshments for all.  After the kids ate the candy from the original eggs, the kids took turns hiding the eggs for each other and had their own egg hunts.

Catie Cooper will not be denied! Her street smarts continue to impress as she ran to the opposite side of the yard from the other kids to have all the eggs to herself!

Spring is here...

The long awaited yellow belt test!

Catherine is getting ready for the sparring portion of her yellow belt test. This will come as a shock to most of you, but she was extremely passive and had to be coaxed into fighting back! However, she did finally get into it and passed the sparring part of the test.

Catie Cooper passed her test and is now a yellow belt! She was extremely proud of herself and loved displaying the boards that she broke with her kick.

April brought about another Home Depot project. After our trip to the Depot to make flower pot holders, we headed back home to paint them.

After watching her mother do it for 90 days, Catie Cooper is now taking a shot at P90X!

Our tomboy is showing a few signs of girlishness.

We headed down to Tallahassee to visit the Somersets for a weekend. The kids always have a blast and this year was no exception. We played in the pool, went to a circus, and messed up their fine home for two days.

The "cousins" Naomi and Catie had a blast swimming in the pool even though the water was pretty cold.

The girls sharing a laugh after the circus. The circus was run and performed entirely by Florida State students. We thought it was awesome, even more so because of the student factor.

We competed in the Red Hills Triathlon that took place only a couple miles from the Somersets! It was a terrific course and is now one of our favorite sprints the we have raced.

This was an interesting photo for several reasons. First, it was taken by a total stranger and we accidentally found it posted online. Second, it happened to catch Steve and Ann in the same frame (what are the odds of that?) and finally, it caught Steve at the moment he was suffering the most on the run!

Ann took first in her age group again... someone is kind of jealous. Was it Wendy who is holding her cup like a trophy or Stiv who is trying to steal Ann's?
